You will find a link below that will take you to our main index page where you will find links to our many Kayhawk sites such as our classmate's home pages, our memoriam page, photos from the 70's and from various reunions, classmate's thoughts and poetry, artifacts such as the commencement flyer, links to Kankakee sites and much more.
If you like this site and If you wish to keep this site, be sure to contact all your Kayhawk friends and have them use it. As you are aware, without folks sharing their pictures and thoughts, there would be nothing to look at. It takes participation and interest to keep this site going.
Keeping in touch: We currently have two ways that we are keeping in touch with each other not including this website and both are FREE to you.
The first is our Delphi Forum/Kayhawk message board. We have had it for over five years but very few people use it. I have kept the link on here so you can check it out if you like. There are posted messages on there.
The second way is the most popular at the moment. There are 34 of us that are on Facebook and I encourage you to join us. We have a group called Kankakee Westview Oldies but Goodies and a sub-group, Kankakee South Siders Club. This unique resource is at our fingertips to keep open our line of communication and a 'community' of our peers to visit and share with. Many folks are fogetting to let me know when they change their e-mail address and I've lost contact with about a fourth of us since the reunion. That makes the next reunion planning all the more difficult. If I can get more of you on Facebook, even for a basic registration, it will be much easier to let you know of future reunion plans.
There is a guest book located on the index page. Be sure to sign in and also to view all of the entries, but remember, the main place that we have established for communicating with each other is not the guest book, it is Facebook. Welcome to our site - thank you for visiting and we hope that you will come back often - Bill and the gang.
P.S. The Group Photo above is the official photo for the 25th reunion that took place in 2000. It was on a boat that left from Navy Pier, Chicago for a Lake Cruise. I patched in three pictures (Tony, Bill, Danny) of people that joined the group in Chicago for the dinner cruise. The others took a bus up from Kankakee.
